Holiday In Dixie celebrates its 60th year as the first festival in the Ark-La-Tex. Shreveport - Bossier’s annual spring festival and celebration of the Louisiana Purchase is a full schedule of merriment and activities with “something for everyone”. Holiday In Dixie 2008 is comprised of more than 50 activities including the ever popular KTBS Channel 3 Treasure Hunt, Neighborhood Block Party Day, the Regions Bank Classic Parade and the Carnival on the Riverfront at Shreveport's Festival Plaza. April 23rd is our Aneca Federal Credit Union Military Night offering free admission with a military I.D. Listed by the ABA as one of the Top 100 events in North America, the festival is sponsored by community businesses and our sponsors as well as the members of the Holiday In Dixie Ambassadors.
